Youth Development programs are designed to help kids from 8 to 18 years old. Our goal is to help mold the athlete to be better prepared for the demands of athletic performance.
Most kids don’t play the way we used to. They spend hours playing video games, on tablets, and phones, and watching TV. Therefore, getting them involved in youth programs can help to form long-standing fitness habits that will last a lifetime. That’s where we come in.
Stages of Development:
Stage 1 Ages 8-10 – The main focus is to develop a sound foundation that incorporates fundamentals, flexibility, and proper movement patterns that will better prepare them for the stages of growth. The main adaptation is neuromuscular facilitation.
Stage 2 Ages 11-13 – Our focus will be to build on the same foundations and incorporate appropriate loads of weight training to help build strength.
Stage 3 Ages 14-18 – Here, we continue to build on the first two stages and incorporate heavier work demands to be better prepared for higher sport demands.
