The Dansons:

When Matthew joined his junior high football team, he went through a massive growth spurt. He’s always been large for his age, and that has caused him to be very uncoordinated and not strong enough to support his large frame. As I watched him work out with the team, I felt like he needed more one-on-one coaching and training. That is where I heard about Faith Athletics.
Coach Robby worked with Matthew over the next year, creating a foundation of proper form when working out. This required exercises and movements designed to develop the stability and coordination he needed to have that proper form, avoid injury and get stronger and faster. Matthew went from not even being able to jump rope or do a proper lunge to having so much more coordination, strength, and stamina. Now that Matthew is in high school, he has had athletic coaches compliment his form in the weight room, and he is progressing by leaps and bounds. If an issue were to come up that Matthew specifically needed work on, I know we could call on Faith Athletics to fill that gap.

The Rothers:

We have entrusted our young athletes to Robby because he configures programs that benefit their long-term development. We were impressed that before beginning their weight training he took time to train them in proper movement mechanics. Then, throughout his program, he incorporated range-of-motion and balance training. Whether they aspire to greater things in their sport or move on to other interests, Robby is teaching them fitness principles that will benefit them for the rest of their lives.

Tim Howard:

My brother purchased some training sessions from FAITH athletics as a birthday gift. He knew I wanted to get better at triathlon, so he figured they would help.
I needed help with developing an effective overall program to feel confident in triathlons and to progress in skills. I felt like I was not advancing no matter what I did.
FAITH athletics gave me an effective warm up protocol which helps me get started on an exercise session. The warm up also helps me get ready on the morning of the tri. I have a better understanding of heart rate importance and thresholds, plus some key biking tips and skills which was offered at a one-on-one session at Memorial Park – picnic loop.
Because of my work with FAITH athletics, I have more interest in doing triathlons and I’m encouraged that I can work on other needs and issues to improve the experience.

Aracely Richardson:
I was using my Nike Running (one size fits all) Plan to train for my very first marathon and I was ready to quit! I had injuries from overtraining and I was so tired all the time.
I am so glad that my husband encouraged me to connect with Robby to train me for the Houston Marathon. He personalized my weekly running schedule based on my needs. He helped and encouraged me through my injuries and really taught me how to run SMART and stay injury free!
He was extremely flexible when I couldn’t get out there and run. He took into consideration that I am a mom, family time, church and a few other things to balance besides keeping up with my running schedule. He has been completely accessible to answer all of my questions and to give encouragement.
It amazes me that 6 months ago, I wasn’t even a runner at all!! I would have never thought I would be able do the miles I’ve been able to do and not be completely wiped out!
I know if I continue this method I won’t get burnt out, I will stay injury free and I will continue to learn and get better.
Overall my experience with Robby has been fantastic and I completed my first marathon!!He is a complete professional and a great guy!
If you are looking to start a running program you need to get Robby!!
